In September 2018 we launched DARE Bikes Development Team. The project, led by Max Emil Kørner, was dedicated to the development of the next generation of Norwegian climbers.
We gathered a strong group of young, Norwegian riders and got off to a good start in 2019. Top results were produced in amateur races such as Vuelta Leon, Vuelta Palencia, Bizkaia 3E, Berangoko Klasika and Vuelta a Navarra. In 2020...well, corona came.
For 2021 we have decided to convert DARE Bikes Development Team to a UCI Continental Team owned and operated by Uno-X:
Development team with a race program not in conflict with Uno-X
10+ U23 riders from Norway and Denmark
One race program
Structural overlap with Uno-X in regards to equipment, training and racing.
Our main concepts for the upcoming years will then be: Uno-X Norwegian Development Team, DARE Bikes Development Team and the Uno-X Development Weekend (three UCI 1.2 races).
